What happens on the 504 Consult Call?
We spend a full hour going through where things stand with your child’s 504 plan — whether it’s being requested, proposed, or already in place — and what to do next.
Does this include you attending my child’s 504 meeting?
No. This $150 call is a consult and document review, one-on-one with you. Meeting attendance is a separate service we can discuss after the call, if you’d like that additional support.
What’s the difference between a 504 plan and an IEP?
A 504 plan provides accommodations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act for students who don’t need specialized instruction but do need support to access their education. An IEP, under IDEA, provides specialized instruction and services for students who qualify under a broader eligibility standard. We’ll talk through which one fits your child’s situation.
Do you work with DoDEA schools specifically?
Yes — DoDEA’s own process for 504 plans doesn’t always map directly onto a stateside district, and we’ll cover that context if it applies to your family.
What do I need to send ahead of time?
Your child’s current or proposed 504 plan, and any evaluation reports or medical documentation you have. A photo or PDF works fine.
