What exactly happens on the IEP Review Call?
We spend a full hour going through your child’s current IEP together — goals, services, accommodations, and present levels — and I walk you through specific language and edits to bring back to your child’s team.
Does this include you attending my child’s IEP meeting?
No. This $150 call is a review of the document itself, one-on-one with you. Meeting attendance is a separate service we can discuss after the review, if you’d like that additional support.
What do I need to send ahead of time?
Your child’s current IEP — a photo or PDF of the most recent version is fine. Recent evaluation reports or progress data are helpful too, if you have them.
Is this different from the general consult call?
Yes. The general consult call is a shorter conversation to figure out what kind of support fits your situation. This IEP Review Call is a full hour dedicated specifically to reading your child’s actual IEP and giving you written suggestions.
Do you work with DoDEA schools specifically?
Yes — DoDEA’s Companion Manual and Case Study Committee process are part of what I look at during the review, since they don’t always map directly onto a stateside IEP.
